Strategic Asia is a dynamic organisation. There are several factors that make this so:
- Strategic Asia is a non-partisan firm. We are independent of government and international agency finance or patronage. This allows us to forecast, identify and evaluate policy problems, options and solutions based on hard evidence and objective assessment
- We focus on major countries in the Asia region, especially China, India and Indonesia, where many of Asia’s most pressing policy and business challenges lie
- Our approach is cross-country and cross-sectoral and involves issues such as food and energy security, regional development and governance reform, investment promotion, foreign policy and trade negotiation, climate change and public-private partnerships
- We are Asia-driven but not Asia-centric. We seek to bring the best Asian minds to contemplate on a given problem while simultaneously bringing the world to Asia. We also continually seek to expand our consulting and client networks outside Asia
