Adrianus Mooy
Director of Economic Policy

Prior to joining UNSFIR as the Senior Adviser on Foreign Aid Management, Mr. Mooy was the Executive Secretary of the UN-ESCAP during the challenging years for ESCAP and the region since it witnessed both the UN's financial crisis and the Asian economic and financial crisis in 1997. Since graduating from the University of Wisconsin, Mr. Mooy has had a distinguished career in Indonesia's econonomic team, including serving as the Governor of Bank Indonesia and as Indonesia's Ambassador to the European Communities in Brussels. WIth his key expertise in the area of finance, banking and debt management, he led the UNSFIR work in preparing a White Paper on Indonesia's future policy on development cooperation.
